Job Description
1. 3D Printed Product Finishing and Processing:
– Clean and remove excess material or support structures from 3D printed parts (FDM, SLA, SLS technologies).
– Polish and sand product surfaces to achieve the required smoothness and finish.
– Assemble product components if printed separately or require joining.
2. Product Quality Inspection:
– Measure and inspect product dimensions and shapes to ensure compliance with drawings and technical specifications.
– Identify and fix surface defects, geometric issues, or other problems arising from the 3D printing process.
3. Tool Maintenance and Management:
– Operate and maintain tools such as grinders, polishers, sandpaper, and measuring instruments.
– Ensure all equipment is in good working and safe condition.
4. Collaboration with Other Departments:
– Work with the 3D printing team to clearly understand each product’s technical requirements.
– Communicate with the design or production management team to resolve product-related issues.
5. 3D Scanning of Orders:
– Operate the company’s 3D scanners to scan models and capture 3D file data.
Experience
– Experience in manual finishing work in the plastics or mechanical engineering industry.
– Experience or knowledge in model painting is an advantage.
Skills:
– Proficient in using tools such as grinders, cutters, and measuring instruments.
– Detail-oriented, meticulous, with strong observation skills.
– Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Other Requirements:
– Able to work under pressure and willing to work overtime when needed.
– Eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes in the 3D printing industry.
